: ) I have a headache.
time, it's time i looked down
down, down at my feet planted in the ground
ground, ground so soft brown and earthy
earthy, earth can you cradle me to sleep
sleep, where i play all night
night, where i close my eyes and breath so deep
deep, deeper and deeper i go into myself
myself, so many things faceted into the world
I'm drifting in this lovely scented, quiet, acoustic playing office with a cup of tea. Drifting on scents and sound waves to lull me along my day. : )

Dreams
I awaken from a dream
slightly separated from reality
My mind lingers there
dancing through possibilities
My soul is free to be whatever
do whatever
Things change from moment to moment
At once I'm getting a cosmic lesson
and the next moment a zombie is trying to mesmerize me
This is why dreams are quintessential
stretching my mind with possibilities
Okay so obviously I just woke up and I feel in a dream stupor. Part of it was I was cleaning out my Uncle's pool and it's was full of leaves and dirt and there was a hole in the bottom of it so the water was going to leak out but we wanted to swim. I was talking to him about if he thought his back was ever going to get better as well. Symbolism!
Next up I'm taller and some kind of hipster hippy chick or something and I'm hanging out with Ashton Kutcher. There's a contest to make something and sell it, I don't know what for. I have all these newspapers and some sort of shredding machine that as it's shredding it it also twists the pieces together. I'm going to make rings and bracelets and all kinds of things. I've got a steady business going.
Then somewhere in all that it turns into some weird kind of zombie scene where someone is trying to make people think they're zombies but one lady doesn't fall for it because she has the power of Mary Anne from True Blood Season 2?
Beats the hell out of me. All I can tell you is, is that despite all that it was a pleasant dream.
And by the way, the no TV thing totally didn't pan out at all. I really do need it to zone out. When I'm left to me own devices my brain kicks in to organizing my life and I need something to drone me out softly for awhile. It also doesn't help that I can't spend time outside playing and I'm having to read a book that I'm only slightly enjoying.
Things To Come (probably later):
We have ponderings of the Universe, so it's time we talked about cupcakes for a bit. I got a new cookbook that I will share with you.

The Things I Do
I decided as well as doing the 30 day challenge with EA Active Sports that I might as well challenge myself in other ways for 30 days so I'm trying to go with out TV with the exception of watching movies. What am I hoping to get out of this? Well...I'm hoping at least for tonight that I finally finish folding the laundry and getting the dishes completely finished, pots and all : ) I'm hoping for some peace of mind, a little reading, some contemplationing and in the long run some time spent working on business stuff. This would be a much easier goal if it were the spring time and I can run around outside and play. I guess the way I figure it is if I can make it through a 30 day cleanse then surely I can handle not watching TV....at least until Lost comes back on which coincidentally just happens to be in 4 weeks today. So here's to no TV, I never want to watch it anyway after I've been out on the trail so I have faith. We'll see : )

New Years Resolutions
New Years Resolutions
Every one does them, whether or not we say them out loud or whisper them silently in our minds in fear that we'd ridicule ourselves for not following through. I think the New Year is wonderful. I love the bombardment of fitness videos, diet plans and gym memberships. It's the one time of the year that people feel hope and inspiration to improve their lives. Sure come March the newness wares off and some of us are back to our old antics but somewhere out there someone has changed their life for the year. They've dedicated themselves to improvement, they've stopped smoking, they're living the dream and carrying the torch through the year for those of us who just didn't make it. If we only can do this in mass for one time of the year that's better than nothing. I'm rooting for all of you out there that you'll get to the end of 2010 with no regrets.
